Desire with Vision & Faith Brings ‘Desired Outcome’

The idle brain is the devil’s workshop. But when you fill your brain with imagination it becomes God’s workshop. Your Desire with Vision and Faith converted to Desired Outcome. Whatever you desire, envision, and believe, your subconscious mind will figure out a way to bring it to fruition. The secret formula to growing rich is a strong desire to be rich coupled with a clear vision of being rich along with total faith that you are rich or will be so soon. Merely wanting or asking for something without complete faith that it will be delivered is not enough. The faith should be childlike faith without any doubt. (Excerpt is from ‘Grow Rich with the Power of Your Subconscious Mind’ by Joseph Murphy)

Engage the Subconscious

To properly engage the subconscious, you can take the following steps:

  1. Imagine that which you desire. For example, you may imagine being a doctor caring for your patients, driving a fancy new car, writing a screenplay, or receiving a fat check for an invention you just came up with. Having a crystal clear image in your mind of what you desire is key.
  2. Infuse your desire with a positive emotion, such as eager anticipation (faith) of receiving the object of your imagination. Positive emotion is the energy needed to transfer the image from the conscious mind to the subconscious mind.
  3. Think of a word or phrase to represent the feeling of being, doing, or having what you imagine, such as “It is mine” or a simple “Thank you.” What is important is that you link the word and phrase in your mind with the mental image and feeling of being, doing, or having what you desire.
  4. Enter a relaxed state and repeat the word or phrase associated with the feeling of being, doing, or having what you imagine. Whenever you say the word or phrase, feel the fulfillment of your desire; for example, if you desire money, feel wealthy.

Creative Power in You

You should spend time on your own to reinforce your belief that you will receive that which you desire. The best suitable time is early morning when you wake up and in the night, just before you sleep. Over time, the positive image will be transferred to your subconscious, and the Creative Power within you will find a way and arrange the resources to bring what you desire to fruition.

Asking favors through prayer is not the same as engaging with the Creative Force. The Divine in you must engage with the Divine Power and Intelligence that flows through all things seen and unseen. To engage the Divine Creative Power in you, you must enter a state of consciousness of being, doing, or having that which you desire. The career, money, and connections you wish to make are the images, likenesses, or physical forms of the states of consciousness which produce them.

Feast in this mood until you are full of the feeling of being, doing, or having what you desire; continue until your desire has passed away and you are at peace. This is the point at which your desire has been fulfilled in your subconscious mind (because you no longer desire what you already have). It is then just a matter of time before the object created in your subconscious mind is manifest in the objective world. It may be instant, or it may take several days, weeks, or months. How your desire is fulfilled and how long it takes are not up to you. Trust the details to your subconscious and to the Divine Power within you, because the method and means are outside the scope of human understanding.

Just Embrace Your Desire

Desire is a Divine Gift. It is Life seeking to express itself through you because you are a channel of the Divine. You are here to express your divinity in thought, word, and deed. Your basic desire is to express life, love, truth, and beauty.

Without desire, you would not get out of the way of an approaching car. It is because of desire that farmers plant grain, corn, and all kinds of seeds—the desire to feed themselves, their families, and other people. Desire is the stimulus that pushes us onward and upward. Thomas Edison desired to light up the world, and we know of his inventions.

We live by desires. Without desires, humanity would die. Thousands of years ago someone desired to deal with the harshness of the season and made the first house of stone or trees with a roof to block the rain and snow and a fireplace to keep the residents warm. Fireplaces were inefficient and dangerous and did a poor job of heating homes, so around 1855, Franz San Galli invented the radiator. In the summer, houses were too hot, so in 1902 Willis Carrier invented the first modern air-conditioning system. All these things began with desire. Desires are often referred to as the fountain and the origin of all action.

When you speak to your mother, it is based upon your desire to speak to her. When you kiss your child good night, it is your desire to show your love and bless the child. Desire is the beginning, and the manifestation is the end. When you are ill, you desire health. When you are confused, you desire peace of mind. A poverty-stricken person desires wealth. Your desire is the voice of your savior. As you look at your desires, you are looking into the eyes of your savior. Your desire, when realized, is your savior—your solution—or your salvation. Failure to realize your desires is the cause of frustration, unhappiness, and illness.

The Power of Faith

Whatever you assume and build into your feeling will become subjectified within you and become objectified in the world around you. You must sustain the assumption; then invariably you will witness its manifestation. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. To develop a greater faith, shut out all the arguing, challenging, and questioning of the analytical and place a reliance on the power of the subconscious mind. Leave the world of the five senses and enter the Divine World of Spirit.

You may say, “Well, I have had a lifetime ambition which has failed to materialize. What will I do?” In this case, distance yourself from anything and anyone who might cause you to question or doubt the power of your subconscious mind. In other words, turn away from sense evidence; give up your limited concept of yourself. Cleanse your mind of all false beliefs and opinions. Your subconscious mind will do the miracle by suggesting to you the actions to fulfill the desire. So, be ready to take action with deep faith.
